  • CDO surveillance in Baitadi:  Illegal clinic sealed, owner arrested

    An illegal clinic in Baitadi has been sealed. A clinic operating against the norms in Ward No. 2 of Sigas Rural Municipality of the district has been sealed. According to Health Office Baitadi, Jai Anirudra Sigas Clinic in Ganjri has been sealed.

    Yogesh Prashad Bhatt, Head of Health Office Baitadi, informed that the clinic was not registered and operated by a person who did not study health subject with the license of another person.

    During surveillance, Awasthi was arrested while examining a patient, and the shop was also sealed. He said, "Awasthi patients who do not have any health-related licenses have been arrested after they were found in the process of injecting saline."

    CDO Panthi said that the monitoring was done after complaints were received that medical and clinic operations were being conducted without permission. He said, "There was a complaint that Khemraj was operating a medical clinic without permission. We have repeatedly followed up after informing them to close the illegal medical clinic. When our team arrived, we found the patient being sedated and examined. Now the action will be taken according to the law. "

    Chief Deputy Superintendent of Police Prem Bahadur Shahi, Head of Health Office Baitadi, Yogesh Prasad Bhatt, and others participated in the surveillance conducted under the leadership of Chief District Officer Suresh Panthi.
