The police have arrested 6 people who were operating medical and clinics illegally in Kailali without taking permission. District Police Office Kailali has informed that they have been arrested on charges of illegally misusing medical services, selling medicines that cannot be recommended, and not meeting the general standards of clinic operation.
A team led by Dipendra Kumar Shah, Pharmacy Officer of the Drug Administration Department, Nepalganj, and Police Inspector Santosh Basyal of the District Police Office arrested 2 people on Monday and 4 people on Thursday.
Among those arrested are Arjun Kunwar, owner of Arjun Clinic in Boradandi, Dhangagarhi sub-metropolitan city-3, 21-year-old Kamala Bohra of Deoria, Amar Chaudhary, owner of Everest Medical, Naveen Dhami, owner of Manvi Pharmacy, Deepak Mahara, owner of Farwest Pathology and Gorakh Bahadur Shrestha, owner of Resmi Clinic.
