Residents of river coastal areas of Dadeldhura and Kanchanpur have been advised to exercise caution due to severe flooding in the Mahakali river.
The Department of Water and Meteorology issued a notification at 10 am this morning asking the residents around the Mahakali River to be alert.
It is said in the notification - the water level alert level (is 5.80) at the Parigaon flood measuring center located in Dadeldhura, Mahakali river. As it has crossed and is increasing, those staying in the riverside areas of Dadeldhura, Kanchanpur, and inundated Hocha places should remain alert till 3 pm.
