Border Out Post of the Armed Police Force is going to be established in Ward 1 Tinker of Byas Rural Municipality of Darchula. Next Thursday, the 21st, the Border Out Post will be established in Tinker. After the establishment of the Warder Out Post of the Armed Police Force in Tinkar near the China border, the Superintendent of Armed Police Force Nepal 44 Gana Headquarters Darchula informed Dumbar Bahadur Bista that a border Out Post is going to be established to control the criminal activities like drug trafficking from that area. Armed Police Deputy Inspector General Vanshiraj Dahal (AIG) is going to come to Darchula to set up the Warder Out Post.

It is said that Inspector General Dahal will reach Darchula soon. It is said that the Armed Police is going to increase the BOP in the border area to make the security of the border area effective and to control theft and smuggling. According to the armed police, the BOP is about to be established after the government gave its approval to set up a BOP to be established in Chyalek of Vyans rural municipality-1 Tinkar. SP Bista said that BOP is going to be established near the old customs and Nepal police border post. Locals here are happy after the strong presence of armed forces in the border area. An armed police post has also been placed on the suspension bridge connecting Nepal-India in Ward No. 2 Mal of Byas Rural Municipality and Ward No. 6 of Malikarjun Rural Municipality in Banku.

Ganapati Dambarwahadur Bista of No. 44 Gana said that there is a regular security presence of armed police in Sitapul of Beas, Malghatte of Sunsera, Ghatbazar of Khalanga, Dattu, Joljivi and Jholunge bridge of Mahakali in Lali, which are connected to the border with India. Among the international border points connecting Nepal-India, armed police are present at all other places except Ward No. 5 Tigaram and Ward No. 6 Badugaon Jholunge Bridge of Byas Rural Municipality.

Homework is being done to establish additional VOPs in Tinkar, Kauwakshetra, and Badugaon of Byas Rural Municipality and Ratauda of Lekam Rural Municipality. The BOP in Joljivi of Malikarjun rural municipality has been made a border security gulam. DSP of Armed Police has been commanding Joljivi since three months ago. Troops have been mobilized under the command of inspectors in the VOPs of Lali and Dumling. There is a team of armed police under the leadership of Sunsera and Datuma Sai. Gulm No. 50 located at Gaga in Changru village near encroached land is headed by DSP.
