A 12-member team of the US Army is coming to Nepal today. The US Army team is coming to Kathmandu today as part of a joint exercise with the Nepali Army team at Nagarkot in Bhaktapur.
Information officer Krishna Prasad Bhandari informed that the 40th edition of the joint military exercise will start on August 24th and end on October 12th.
He said, "The Joint Combined Exchange Training between the Nepali Army and the United States Army is a regular exercise of Balance Nail."
Information Officer Bhandari of the Nepali Army informed that the junior-level badgers from the US are coming to Kathmandu today afternoon by US Army plane to participate in this exercise. The plane of the American army will return on the 22nd of August.
Joint exercises have been taking place between the armies of America, Britain, India, China, Sri Lanka, Mongolia, Bangladesh, Israel, and other countries and the Nepali army. In the joint exercise, experiences and knowledge have been shared in disaster management, search and rescue, humanitarian aid, counter-terrorism control, and the role of serving in peacekeeping forces.
A team of 10 members of the Nepalese army under the command of soldier Vivek Bikram Shah left for Britain on August 20th in connection with the same exercise.
