The principal and manager of the Valley Public Boarding School located in the old market of Chaurjahari Municipality-1 of Rukum has been arrested by the police after the case of abetment to suicide.
The police arrested the principal Pushpa Bhat and the manager Yuden Bhandari on Sunday.
Police Inspector Dharmendra Khadka, Information Officer of the District Police Office, said that the case of inciting the suicide of 13-year-old Srishti Gautam, who studied in Class 8 of the same school, was referred to them.
On Tuesday, a 13-year-old student, Gautam, was brutally beaten up in the school with the involvement of Principal Bhat and the manager Bhandari. The student who came home after the beating committed suicide by hanging herself in her school clothes.
The girl's family has alleged that she was forced to die after the principal tortured and stressed her at school due to family support rather than education.
The police said that an investigation has been started into this matter. The deceased student is the same municipality Ward no. 1 is from Lamichhane village.
