A 6.4 magnitude earthquake hit Jajarkot, Nepal at midnight on Friday, November 3, 2023. The epicenter of the earthquake was Ramidanda in Jajarkot, and tremors were felt as far as the capital Kathmandu.
Details of the damage are still coming in, but the last time there was a 6.3-magnitude earthquake in Nepal, it caused significant human and physical damage.
The National Seismological Center is urging people to be vigilant and to take precautions in the event of aftershocks.
