Hamas released 11 more hostages. In return, Israel has released 33 more Palestinians. Nepali Bipin Joshi, who was held hostage by Hamas, is not even on the list of those who have been released.

Hamas released 11 Israeli citizens on Monday night. There are 9 children and 2 women.

On the other hand, Israel has also released 33 Palestinians, including 30 children and 3 women, who are in various prisons in the country. According to CNN, Israel has so far released 150 Palestinians from its prisons, while Hamas has released 69 hostages. Among them are 50 Israeli hostages and 19 foreign citizens. Tuesday marks the 53rd day of the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas.

Ella Alyakin and Dafna Alyakin, two children released from Hamas captivity, meet their mother after 52 days. The ceasefire has been extended for 2 days on Tuesday and Wednesday.

It was decided to extend the ceasefire after pressure from Egypt, Qatar and the US. According to the BBC, this decision was made after the mediation of Qatar and Egypt.

According to US national security spokesman John Kirby, Hamas has promised to release 20 women and children in the next two days of the ceasefire. According to the Times of Israel, Israel will release 60 Palestinians from prison within the next two days.

In the ceasefire, Hamas has said that it wants to end the war. According to Al Jazeera, Hamas leader Ghazi Hamad said, "I hope that by doing this we will be able to end the war quickly and stop the attacks on the Palestinian people."

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has said that the situation in Gaza is getting worse day by day. It is important to end the war, not a truce of two or four days. He said, 'A complete ceasefire is the solution to the problem of Gaza. It is also in the interest of the people. Hamas must also release all prisoners unconditionally.'
