Kathmandu: The weather is changing along with rainfall and snowfall in different parts of the country as a result of the partial effects of low pressure and westerly winds.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there has been sporadic to light rain in one or two places in the hilly areas of Gandaki and Karnali provinces including Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces since this morning.
Similarly, the MFD has reported that there is sporadic to light snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous regions of the Sudurpaschim Province and Karnali Province.
According to the MFD, this afternoon's weather in Koshi Province's hilly regions, which include Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces, will be mostly clear.
Similarly,light rain may fall in a few locations within the hilly regions of Gandaki and Karnali Provinces, including Lumbini Province, and light snowfall may fall in a few locations within the high, hilly, and mountainous regions of Gandaki and Karnali Province.
