On this day, 1 crore 16 lakh 58 thousand 110 shares of 303 companies were bought and sold for 4 billion 29 crore 9 lakh 32 thousand 297 rupees in a transaction of 1 lakh 1 thousand 504 times. Shares worth 5 billion 248 million were traded on Wednesday.
In the stock market, which fell by normal numbers, the prices of 6 companies traded at positive circuit levels. While Vision Lumbini Energy increased by 10 percent, the prices of Chirkhwa Hydropower and Hathaway Investment increased by 9.99 percent, Manakamana Energy Hydropower and Muktinath Agricultural Company increased by 9.98 percent.
When the prices of about half a dozen companies increased, the prices of two companies took a negative circuit. The prices of Dhavalagiri Microfinance and BPW Microfinance have fallen by 10 percent.
Sonapur Minerals was at the top in terms of turnover. Shares of that company were traded worth more than 14 million rupees. Similarly, shares of Shivam Cement and Ghorahi Cement worth more than 130 million were traded.
While the sub-index of 6 groups increased, the index of 7 groups decreased. 135 companies fell while 103 rose.
