Lord Ram is being honored today in Ayodhya. Shri Ram's Abhishek ceremony is going to be held today.

In which Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and many other special guests will participate in the ceremony. A new idol of Lord Rama of that temple has been prepared and installed in the sanctum sanctorum. The new 51-inch idol of Lord Ram will be consecrated today only.

Govinda Dev Giri, the Treasurer of Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Fund, has informed that the old statue of Ram placed in the temporary temple will be placed in front of the new statue. Who will also be anointed in the temple today.

Last week, a 51-inch idol of Ram was placed in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram temple. Three idols of Ram have been prepared. Out of which, the idol made by Mysore sculptor Arun Yogiraj was chosen for consecration. The other two idols will be placed in the temple with full honor and respect.

Abhishek will be done today from 12:20 pm. Maryada Purushottam is ready for the Prana Pratishtha ceremony of Lord Rama at the Ram temple on January 22 in Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama. Abhishek program will be held at 12:20 PM on Abhijit Muhurta of Pus Shukla Dwadashi.

For the ceremony, Ramjanmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust has invited seven thousand people including three thousand VVIPs for the consecration ceremony.
