Kathmandu, Jan 22: Vianet Communication Ltd. has announced a new "Buy 1 Gift 1 Free" campaign for its internet packages. This first-of-its-kind offer allows existing and new Vianet customers to gift a free 3-month 125 Mbps internet package worth Rs 2,700+VAT to their loved ones when purchasing or renewing their own Vianet connection.

Customers who renew or install a 125 Mbps or higher Vianet internet package for 3, 6 or 12 months will receive a gift voucher via SMS. They can then share this voucher with a friend or family member, enabling the recipient to redeem it for a free 125 Mbps internet connection from Vianet for 3 months. The new customer will need to pay installation charges.

Once the gift voucher has been redeemed, Vianet will reward the original customer who purchased the package and gifted the voucher with an additional free month of internet.

The company has introduced this offer to encourage its customers to refer Vianet services to friends and family. According to Vianet's VP of Sales & Marketing Mr. Shahin Shrestha, customer referrals have always been Vianet's primary source of new customer acquisition.

The gift voucher is only valid for new Vianet customers. Additionally, Vianet has reduced the 3-month 125 Mbps package price to Rs. 2,700+VAT to make the campaign more appealing.
