Mahendranagar : Nepal's cricket captain, Rohit Kumar Poudel, expressed optimism about his team's chances against Sri Lanka in the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup match.
In a press conference, Poudel highlighted the positive impact of star spinner Sandeep Lamichhane's return to the squad. "Sandeep's experience and skill as a wicket-taker will be very beneficial, especially considering the West Indies pitch being favorable for spin bowlers," he stated.
Poudel emphasized that Nepal has a golden opportunity to secure a victory. "We have formulated a specific strategy based on the possibility of defeating Sri Lanka. We believe the team that reaches 140 runs will emerge victorious," he declared.
