Karnataka: A tragic road accident occurred on Tuesday, September 17, in the Ramanagara district of Karnataka, resulting in the deaths of four people. The incident took place on National Highway 75 near Kudur Hobli, approximately 57 kilometers from Bengaluru.
According to local police, the victims, all residents of Bagalgunte in Bengaluru, were returning to the city after attending a funeral in Magadi. The driver, Nanjundappa (56), lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a curve near an oil factory at Bhadrapura Gate. The car subsequently collided with a large peepal tree, causing severe damage.
Four individuals, including Nanjundappa, his wife Sharadamma (50), his mother Bhadramma (80), and his friend Nagaraj (54), lost their lives in the accident. Nanjundappa's daughter, Kusuma (21), an MBA student, survived the crash but sustained serious injuries and was immediately transported to a private hospital in Bengaluru.
