Kathmandu : Dr. Zenith Singh, a physician employed at the National Trauma Center, was assaulted by senior police constable Shambhu Gurung. He was suspended on Saturday.
Poshraj Pokharel, a spokesman for the Nepal Police, reported that senior constable Gurung has been suspended.
He stated, "Now there will be additional inquiry on him. Senior Police Constable Gurung has been suspended after obtaining the complaints of his wrongdoing."
Dr. Zenith Singh, a trauma center employee, was attacked by Gurung, a police officer who was on duty, as she was leaving for her speech to the Federal Parliament.
Dr. Singh was assaulted by Gurung in front of Bir Hospital.
