The Supreme Court has ordered that cricket player Sandeep Lamichhane, who is on trial for forcing a minor, apply for permission to participate in the match in the UAE and the application to the attorney general's office on Sunday.
The single bench of Judge Ishwar Prasad Khatiwada gave the order on Friday.
An application was submitted to the court seeking permission to travel abroad to play in the ICC World Cup League-2 series starting next week in the UAE.
Spokesperson of the Supreme Court, Bimal Paudel told, "There has been an order to submit both petitions together on Sunday."
A petition filed by the Attorney General's office in the Supreme Court challenging the Patan court's order to release Lamichhane with conditions was kept on Friday.
