The civil servants staged a dharna at the south gate of Singha Darbar demanding the Federal Civil Servants Service Act.
They have warned that if the federal civil law is not issued, the agitation will intensify from May 24. They have warned that if the government does not pay attention to their demands, they will stop the work of the Singha Darbar and organize protests across the country.
Speaking at the sit-in program, Prabhat Sah, vice president of the Nepal Civil Service Organization, said that the government had ignored the demand for the immediate release of the Federal Civil Service Act, so they were forced to protest.
He stated that he had symbolically protested to issue the Federal Civil Service Act, State Civil Service Act, and Local Civil Service Act and said, 'After the country went to federalism, everyone got their laws, and the Civil Servants Act, known as the permanent government, could not be enacted.'
Even before this, the civil servants had been protesting at various stages demanding the issuance of the Federal Civil Service Act.
