Now the elected people's representatives have completed their one-year term, but the local people complain that they have not fulfilled the promises made to the citizens during the election and have not been able to act according to the sentiments of the people.

People's representatives are not able to work in such a way that the citizens are confident. Comparing the work done by the past and present leaders, there is no significant difference.
The people's representative who is leading at the local level has been saying that he has succeeded in doing many things in the first year of his tenure. They said that the foundation of development and prosperity has been laid at the local level and it will take time to complete it.

Ramlal Dagaura Tharu, head of Tikapur municipality, said that the work could not be done according to the sentiments of the citizens. He discussed that despite the beginning of some good work, it happened when the citizens were looking for immediate results.

"We are in the early stages. The results of the work could not be shown in one year, even if many things are not coordinated." City chief Tharu said, "There has also been a problem due to the lack of coordination between the union and the state at the local level. We are planning to complete all the work in April, but the planning process of the state and union starts in April. And how can there be fruitful work?”

Keval Chaudhary, the head of Bhajani municipality, claimed that many works have been done in the municipality in a year. He said that according to the wishes of the people, he was completely oriented to what he said during the election.

"Citizens' expectations are high, but due to the limitations of our resources, it may not work as per the citizens' expectations." City chief Chaudhary said, "But many works have been started on our behalf. Although the result is not visible now, the work has been started so that the citizens will feel it in the remaining four years."He said that since Bhajani is a flood-affected area, the municipality is working with priority on disaster management, everyone's participation in education, and access to health care for everyone.

Ganesh Chaudhary, Chairman of Janki Rural Municipality, said that it is not yet time to evaluate the work. He said that in the first year, he was able to lay the foundation of the accepted subjects among the citizens. Chairman Choudhary said that it is not easy to do any work, but the rural municipality is working hard to make the plan successful by facing the challenges.

Chairman of Joshipur Rural Municipality, Chitra Bahadur Chaudhary, said that although it is not time to look for results, the achievements of the work done in one year have increased the confidence of the people. He also said that the results of the work done have not come. "Our work has progressed so that the citizens are satisfied. It is not time for the citizens to realize it." President Choudhary said, "It takes time to make a feeling. During our tenure, we will fulfill the basic things that we have said.''

Sushila Shahi, the head of Lamkichuha municipality, said that due to the reduction of the budget, the achievements could not be achieved as expected. She said that although there were some notable works in the said municipality such as red parts distribution in Badi Basti, the construction of eight houses in camp settlements, the work of establishing a trauma center, which was tried since the day he came to the leadership, could not be completed due to lack of land."There is a lot of work to be done. The expectations of citizens are also high. It will definitely take time to fulfill that expectation.” City chief Shahi said, "Currently, the budget cut by the federal government has also caused problems in the work.

Another problem is the confusion seen in the coordination between public representatives and employees. Complaining that the employees did not implement the policy made by the people's representative easily, many works did not get results, he said that last fiscal year, due to the inaction of the employees in implementing the budget, 130 million rupees of the municipality's money was frozen.
