India has stopped the visa service issued by its embassy in Ottawa, the capital of Canada. BSL International Services informed on Thursday that it has been providing services for the embassies whose visa services have been closed until further notice.
For the past few years, BSL International Services has been managing visa, passport, 'consular', authentication, and citizen services for the Government of India. BSA has been providing services to the government and Indian diplomatic missions in different countries of the world.
The company issued a notice today stating that the Indian visa service has been suspended until further notice and requested all concerned to visit the company's website from time to time.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Monday accused the Indian government of being behind the killing of separatist leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar, causing tension in India-Canada relations.
